+1 for MT.

SF CA., is the armpit of the USA
Why are you commenting on a subject about a law that has been settled for 6 years, about a local ordinance not in your state, and in a thread that hasn't seen any response for 8 years?
Was it just to slam the state and it's people? Well let me congratulate you on being the first ever to be as witty.

Die Zombie thread, die!

After two pages of reading, i discovered this thread actually "died" before I even joined THR.
Made me wonder: did this law eventually pass and did the people of SF got to turn in their handguns?
If so, did this do any good on crime?

Other: shut the whole thing down (the thread that is, not the town):D

Ya know, it's actually a nice town...just in need of a population transfusion!

SF is truly a beautiful place. Those that suggest otherwise are woefully ignorant. Unfortunately it's becoming as expensive as Manhattan and the political leadership is far too "progressive."

For decades people worked in SF and just as soon as they could, they moved to the Peninsula or the Silicon Valley. For years it's been just the opposite -- even those who work in the valley or the peninsula strive to live in SF proper.

Things tend to go in cycles so it will be interesting to see what happens to SF in the coming decades. In the mean time, it's still a great place to spend the weekend though...

California is beautiful, physically... deserts, beaches, forests, hot weather, cool weather, amazing coastline. It really has something for almost everyone. It's such a shame that people have to compromise their freedoms to live there.

What does that mean exactly, and compared to where?
