Traded my Glock 42 in .380 for a P-365 w/manual safety. Did so for three reasons; 1. Step up power of the 9mm vs. the .380, 2. Addition of the manual safety, and 3. Availability of cheaper ammo.

In my experience Glock = SIG and visa-versa in quality, no difference there. The 42 had the Glock updates and the SIG is a late model defects worked out edition.

I got a real nice outside or inside the waist left or right side holster. I am just not used to carrying that way. Always had the .42 in my Alabama holster right foot pocket. Guess I'll have to relearn.

Anybody ever carry the P-365 in their pocket?

Yes. I can pocket carry a Sig 365, some pockets are more conducive than others.
Printing? My untucked shirt does a fine job of breaking outline as well as concealing the Glock I've got AIWB. (small hand sanitizer breaks outline as well)
Pocket gun is a 2nd option (in weak hand pocket) to a gun on belt; option to put my hand on it without revealing I'm carrying and/or quick access with weak hand.
If one only has a pocket gun in strong hand pocket: slow access if hand doesn't start in pocket, slow when seated, and laughably (maybe fatally) slow access with weak hand.

Last year that I was working our uniform pants were 5.11 Strikers. I carried a 365 in a sticky holster in my right pocket for a year. If I am wearing cargo shorts I can still do so. Much past that and I need to go to a inside the waist band holster. Now a days I carry a LCP in the pocket most of the time.

I do, the standard model w/ 10 round flush mags, no thumb safety since 2019. It prints a little, but I've never been called out. Pocket carry does indeed have disadvantages:

I pocket carry a P365 (with micro red dot) in a Sticky holster. Cargo shorts/pants are best but I can get away with loose-fitting jeans or chinos, too. I use the 10 round flush-fit mags. It prints a little bit but the shape is so amorphous that no one’s been able to tell that I’m armed - not even the local constabulary.

I pocket carry mine in a DeSantis sticky holster. I don't think it's any slower to get to than other ways I would carry.
