Springfield XD-45? I definately am! And then, I'm sure I'll retire my XD-9. :)
 
I have to go with George on this one.
It's a polymer thing and I just can't see it happening. :evil:
 
Funny, I asked myself a similar question when I was on a low vehicle budget and saw the Kia Sedona. This was back when it had just rolled off the factory line. The warranty made it very attractive, and the dealer said that none of the one's he had sold to that day had come back for fixes. Made it sound like it was solidly built. Good thing I bought the Chevy.

Not to impugn your taste or judgment, sir; but wouldn't you rather wait a while until the XD-45 has established a good track record for itself?

I have an xd 9 subcompact and a standard xd 40 so I really don't see a need for a xd in .45 GAP. This round is expensive to buy and hard to find so I'll wait and see when a .45 ACP comes out I will probably buy it.
