Hello everyone,

My dad and I are looking to buy a ton of .40 S&W ammo and maybe any of the following calibers if we can find them cheap:

.40 S&W
.380 Auto
.38 Special
.357 Magnum

Does anyone know of a place that I can find this or does anyone have any ammo that they could sell to us??? :)

I know that I can go to a sporting goods store but I was looking more so for buying bulk.

I wish people would stop telling people to roll their own. Stop making my components more expensive (upcoming industrializing nations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aka: China)

Yeah, everyone else has it covered. Remember kiddos (I'm 23) buy in bulk, don't be nickeled and dimed!

You won't find it any cheaper than J&G's price.

Roll your own if you want quality cheap.

I buy components in bulk and my target-grade .45 ammo costs me $8.20 per 100. That's $4.10 per 50-round box. It doesn't take long to make up the difference in the cost of your reloading equipment.

The_Sheriff - we can help better if you tell us what ammo it is that you're looking for?

.40SW JHP/FMJ/etc.?

Also, if you could be as specific as possible, it would help even more. What brands, models, etc. do you prefer? For the .40SW - 180, 165, or 155 grain? Etc. Etc.

I might be able to direct you to where to purchase if you are more specific.

I've ordered from Cabela's, Midway, and Ammoman - good experiences with all.
Also, try CDNN. Sometimes they have closeouts of different kinds of ammo.

And if you ever find yourself in need of 7.62x51, I have some South African surplus I might be looking to liquidate in the near future.

"...if we can find them cheap..." 'Cheap' is a relative term. What you and your da(more likely your da) call 'cheap' isn't the same as what I call 'cheap'. Mind you, I reload everything. There's no such thing as 'cheap' factory ammo. It doesn't cut it for accuracy anyway.

I have about 900 assorted rounds of 40 (don't have the gun any more). I have some Lawman HP's, and quite a few blazer brass 180's.
Don't need it, if you are interested I can provide a detailed list. Does UPS ship ammo?

Yes, UPS ships ammo. Pack it well, and let them know. They will put a ORM sticker on it.

I buy my ammo through sportsman's guide now, I've been buying WOLF ammo and it's saving me tons of money. I used to shop at Bass Pro and get Remington .223, Winchester 9, and .40, but WOLF is half the price.

I have 2 Cases (1000 rnds) of NewInBox Wolf .40 SW ammo. If you are interested PM me as I have no use for .40 caliber and wish to sell it.

Some of the better deals recently for 7.62x39 are Ammoman (shipping included) and some ok Silver Bear .223 prices at AIM INC. A guy at the range sold me some Wolf 55-grain .223 for .20/round, this week he charges .25/round. He says the smaller grain is not so good in his AR-15...something about barrel twist.

For a Mosin Nagant (durable, powerful rifle less than $100 before shipping/FFL fee):
"Sportsmansguide.com".
300 rounds for about $53, plus shipping.

When will this 7.62x54R ammo make a noticeable price jump: demand jumps or quantities significantly decrease?
