I have one, and I love it. I've never owned an original Fatboy, so I can't really give a good size comparison.

Did you buy it somewhere locally? I was going to see if Brigade had them in stock so i could compare it to my current fatboy.

Yeah they work well for hiking, backpacking, etc...Very sturdy...Once you get it loaded out the way you want, between the weight and the slung over shoulder strap, its pretty darn secure...

side loading hurts a lot, so I pancake. When out in the wild I sholder holster it with a cammel pack for H2O and snaks.

I ordered mine online. Brigade wasn't stocking them when I got it, but they do have a Maxpedition rack, so they might have some now.

I called them and they said they only carry the regular fatboy. I am going up there today in the morning, and maybe pick up a monsoon.

I got one, and I'm very happy with it...I had a regular and now a Jumbo...the Jumbo is certainly designed differently, but...I like it. I have several packs attached to it, and will post pics soon of the setup.
