The boss says it's spring cleaning time :(. I have a collection of American Rifleman magazines going back to the 70's and American Hunter going back to the 80's. If anyone needs one or more to fill gaps in their collection, PM me.

Well, I don't really need any, but good on ya for a generous offer.

Next haircut (they're getting longer & longer between visits:() the local barber shop is getting mine.

Last year or so I've been trimming out specific articles and saving those, then trashing them.

I used to give them to my sons, but they're both Lifers now too.

If I didn't get rid of them once in a while I'd have 588 by now. I just weighed one for grins and found it was 6oz.

That would make 220lb of them.

Far too much for a "bug out" situation, considering that you should only bring what you can carry in your two hands at a dead run.

If my arithmetic is correct.

Hmmm. And at 0.200 inches each, moderately compressed, that would make 9.8 feet of them. The "two hands, dead run" theory would seem to apply here, too.

If my arithmetic is correct.

more specific

I got a PM from a member that wanted a 1970 issue. I went out to check the dates. My American Rifleman magazines start in 1972 and American Hunter in 1980. Sorry I wasn't more specific in my 1st post. I also found some old American Handgunner magazines if anyone is interested.
