Last year or so I've been trimming out specific articles and saving those, then trashing them.
I used to give them to my sons, but they're both Lifers now too.
If I didn't get rid of them once in a while I'd have 588 by now. I just weighed one for grins and found it was 6oz.
That would make 220lb of them.
Far too much for a "bug out" situation, considering that you should only bring what you can carry in your two hands at a dead run.

Hmmm. And at 0.200 inches each, moderately compressed, that would make 9.8 feet of them. The "two hands, dead run" theory would seem to apply here, too.
