ANYONE Colorado? CCW with out of State license

Hey all, I'm looking for anyone who lives in Colorado.

I will be visiting C. Springs Golden and Boulder.

Any oddities I should be aware of??

I do maintain a Valid Florida Permit, and they are reciprical with CO, but I just want to see if there is anything special I need to be aware of..

Dress warm, but be prepared for warm weather, too: winter weather tends to be unpredictable.

Open carry may not be legal in Boulder, and definitely isn't in Denver, which wants to be the San Francisco of the Rocky Mountains.

Keep an eye on your speedometer: Colorado is more heavily patrolled than many states.

When in Boulder...

Don't breath the air. Boulder recently ranked 2nd in the nation for consumption of marijuana by the residents.

I think as long as your weapon stays concealed it should not be an issue, but keep in mind that Boulder is a VERY "Liberal" town. I can't speak for Colorado Springs, I've not been down that way in years.

I live here in the springs and do carry and have never had a problem. I have met and know quite a few law enforcement officers here and have never had a problem but then I do not let my handgun show either.
This is also a right to protect yourself state in you may carry a firearm in your car for protection.
Just be carefull and do not let anyone know and you should not have any problems. The places you plan on going are not really high crime city's either.

As they said just be carefull in Denver as they do not seem to care about state or federal laws.

no problems here ever...


+1 on the weather..you can encounter 60+ degrees to 0 degrees within a few days or few miles...
