Never left the circle to speak of.
Never owned any ARs AKs FALs or anything. Only polymer rifle I ever owned were Rem Nylon 66's , brown Stock, Blued receivers and barrels and feed thru the buttstock.
I like this Nylon 66 and would take more.
All my rifles other than that 66, blue and wood, and at 51 I still do not own a scope or any optics for a long gun. And my eyes are not what they once were.
Lever Actions, Bolt guns and the few semis such as Marlin 60's - iron sights.
Shotguns, yeah well pretty well known my druthers on them.
I still use the same handgun platforms I chose when the earth was flat.
I own one Polymer handgun, most likely be my last one. My "niche gun" a Keltec P-11. Just a plastic double action revolver is all it is.
I bought this one after being asked to T&E it, fills a "niche" so a nice steel gun does not have to fill that 'niche'.
Same Calibers all these years. Never warmed up to the .40 in a handgun, never will.
Shotguns...I use all 4 gauges , my feelings about 28 ga are well known. What some may not know, I have had a lot of fun shooting 24 and 32 ga shotguns, especially the 32, I guess that is my 'exotic' fun gun deal.
I keep going backwards some say, my next steps are learning BP someday, I have this thing about having a Double Barrel , BP shotgun and taking Pheasants with one.
I have taken ducks and doves with one, some years ago...just for some odd reason with no pheasants here, and knowing zilch about BP, this is what I want to do.
A grown person should not have as much fun as I have had this summer assisting kids and shooting a LOT of single shot .22 rifles with iron sights...
but I don't care. I am the bigger kid with the mustache.
