I just picked up a shoulder holster for my S&W 642. it's a Galco Defender (model d160). seems to be a hybrid of the classic lite series and the miami classic. nice molded leather holster, with leather straps on one side, and an elastic band on the other. fits well, been wearing it comfortably for the last several hours. nice, methinks.
however, I can't find mention of this model anywhere! it's not on galco's website, and all results from searching for Galco Defender are for galco holsters for Colt Defenders.
anyone know anything about this thing? the salesman at the gunshop said something about how they were an overrun from a government sale or something. I'm just curious.
