LGS has one for $675. He said that he wasn't sure what the difference was, but he thinks that it is a mil spec that has everything that people commonly send in to SA to have done.

Mil Spec and Loaded are 2 different levels.

Mil Spec = spur hammer, original style spur grip safety, chamfered mag well, lowered ejection port. (and a few other small things)

Loaded = beaver tail grip safety, commander style hammer, a cross drilled trigger I believe, and maybe a few little details..

I added a beaver tail safety to my Mil Spec.. but in the end it would have just been cheaper to buy the Loaded straight away..

The guy at the gun shop called it a mil spec loaded. He said that this was an upgraded version of the mil spec. He said that SA nixed the GI and now the mil spec is the low end, and the mil spec loaded is the next step up. I actually saw a parkerized mil spec for $599.99+tax on Friday, but I would've had to drive 1 1/2 hours today to get there. I would've bought it when I was there, but didn't have the cash. He had his listed for $675. I asked him if he could do any better on the price and he dropped it to $640. So with tax I was out the door with it for $685ish. Saves me a 3 hour round trip. So I'm happy.

Just got back from shooting it too. We shot 34 rounds total. (It's really cold out) 6" targets. 0-3 @35yds, 0-3 @25yds, 2-3 @15yds and 18-18 @7yds. My 12 year old son got to fire the first mag. He was 2-8 @7yds. But he's only ever shot a .45 once. Overall, I am very happy with it.
