Anyone excited for the M10X?

I haven't heard much on this rifle but stumbled across a youtube video from SHOT 2015 that announced that it should be out this year. I like AK platform rifles and this one peaks my interest.

It has an ambi safety and charging handle that can easily be moved to either side of the rifle. It also has a full length rail along the top of the weapon to allow for the easy installation of optics and other items. The "premium" version has a fully machined upper and everything is nitrided. Barrel is 4140 steel and is floated. It opens up like an AR for easy cleaning. There are 3 settings for gas adjustment including "off". MSRP for the premium seems to be $1200.

Anyway, did anyone actually get to see one in person at the SHOT show? Any one else excited to see one? I think I'd be game if it comes to market closer to $1000.

A fixed ejector and heavy recoiling parts (and good bolt to bolt carrier mass ratio) are among the reasons why AKs have a reputation for reliability in crap conditions with indifferent maintenance.

It is nice to see that the new Galil ACE won't have the evolved AK market to itself completely.

Yes, I have good number of AKM magazines. If it sells for under $2000 (looks like about $1500 item) I will give it a closer look. I would rather have that than some pile of plastic with steel barrel and bolt.
