just wondering?i was on remingtons website a few min ago and saw there AR-15 and was like huh?when did this happen?lol
who are they getting there bottom ends from?

It is my understanding that Remington and Bushmaster both belong to Cereberus so I'd assume they are just rebranded Bushmasters. Seems like the same company owns DPMS but I am not sure about that.

I don't think it's possible to 'corner' the AR15 market. The whole point of the AR15 market is how diverse it is, because of relatively low start-up costs, which I suspect are due to the use of aluminum machining vs. steel and the tooling required. I saw a website where a guy showed how to BOLT together an AR15 receiver from slabs of aluminum. And another that showed exactly how you could basically machine your own with a drill press (it was amazing, explained why all the little corners cut on receivers are round not straight).

Heard the same Co. has a big stake in Daimler Chrysler, so don't worry about them having some sneaky gun-power-grab going on.

And why would they liquidate the companies not working out when they could simply fudge the books, play with inventory numbers, and sell them to some other sucker?

But as a general rule, yea, if your company is not making a profit you really shout do something different, change or close. Charities are a whole different industry.

this kinda bothers me LUCKY say they are a major share holder in daimler chrysler?we all know what happened to chrysler's quality when daimler got involved..........
