I don't have access to a current Hornady reloading manual but need load data for their .357 mag 180 gr. XTP HP bullet. I can't seem to find the information online either. I would appreciate the data for this particular bullet if you can post it. I will be using H110 powder.

My Hornady manual is the fourth edition, (probably not the latest edition) for 180gr bullets it only lists JTC-SIL.

C.O.L. - 1.590 - Primer Federal 200

FPS - 1050 - 1100 - 1150
H110 - 12.1gr - 12.5gr - 12.9gr MAX

Not sure if this helps. I'd like to see how this compares to the newest edition with the bullet you listed.

I've got a 6th edition here (not sure what the latest is)

For the 180 HP-XTP (#35771) it lists a C.O.L of 1.590

H110: 900 FPS - 11.3gr
1050 FPS - 13.1gr (max)

Have a good one,
Dave

Thanks!

WOW! Thanks for the responses. Those loads are much smaller and slower than what I've been reading from other sources. Some are using 15+ grains of H110 behind these bullets. Hmmm. I want to get the 180 gr. XTP going about 1200-1300 fps in my 6" Ruger GP100. I will be hunting medium sized deer and feral hogs within 25 yards. Any advice?
