Lasermax Guiderod on an XD?

Bought the 4" version of the XD with the two different size mags.

Was thinking of getting the Lasermax replacement guide rod with a laser in it.

Anyone try one yet?

well I guess I'll get one and try it out.

They claim no impact on functionality or reliability . . . . . more than half the cost of the gun though.

I have a xd40 with the 5" barrel, and have thought about getting one. Mostly because they dont hang off the weapon and require a different holster. But as you have said, no positive feedback about their quality, and for only 130 or so less than i paid for the firearm, i can't justify investing quite yet.
Hopefully someone will have something good to say about them.

Don't know if you have purchased one yet, but I don't reccomend them. My good friend bought one & had nothing but problems wiht it. Don't know if they have improved the design, but when he bought his it gave him nothing but problems, & their customer service was bad too.
