Anyone have a Rexio?

I'm thinking of buying a Rexio single shot .22lr. They're Argentine made. The website is http://www.rexioarms.com/rc_410.htm. It's in Spanish, but you can see pictures. The model seems to be .45 LC/.410, but the .22 looks just like it. They are offered for ~$50 in SGN. They seem pretty well made, and it's a darn good price. Any experience with 'em ya'll?

There's a 45/410 one just down the street for $129 that's kinda been tempting me. Cheaper than a 410 barrel for my Contender. Seem to be pretty solid, even if they are pretty ugly.

AFAIK, they are/were made in Argentina, not Spain. They are/were not expensive, (with a top retail price of about $200 for the line) and not especially well made. I am not sure if they are still in business.

$50 sounds like either a bankruptcy sale or there is something wrong with the guns, or both.

I looked at a Rexio .38 Special revolver a while back and the bore and cylinders didnt line up quite right. If its a break open single shot .22 you wont have that kind of problem though

I owned one of the .45/.410 single-shot Rexio's a while back. I didn't particularly want it, but a buddy needed cash so I bought it off of him. It was basically functional but quirky. After a couple of hundred rounds it developed a very odd trait: you had to lift the barrel up to about a 25 degree angle before you could cock the hammer. I decided I had enough fun out of it and sold it.

Rexio consumer report

I bought a 38 special made by Rexio about 7 or 8 years ago and it is probably my favorite handgun I've erver owned. The accuracy is unmatched by any of the hand guns I've owned or shot. The only problem I've had out of it is I dropped once while moving and since then the grips need to be tightened after about 3 reloads whenever I take it to the range. I've had several people mistake(dealers)it for the smith an wesson 38 special until they take a closer look. It's appearence is very similar. The only thing I don't like about it is you're not supposed to put +p or over pressurized ammo in it., But unless your looking to take down an armored target I don't see as where that would be much of a problem. I know you're looking for info on one of their long arms but I thought this might help. Hope it does anyway.

rexio rj 22lr

I have a model RJ 22lr. It shots pretty good. I looked it up and they were made in 2000 to 2002 and sell for $150. to $95. This was the information I got out of the "Blue Book of Gun Values", thirty first edition.
