Anyone have any experience with a Savage 93FVSS-XP?

Does anyone have an experience with this gun? I'm really liking the look of it and I know Savage guns have never let me down. I'm not sure why but after shooting a buddies .22 Magnum I've had the itch to get one. I usually am a big fan of semi auto's but for some reason I just want a bolt action this time. I'm hoping it will be more accurate.

Since I have a 10/22 that's a .22 LR is there any big advantages to a .22mag over the .22 lr? I know it's a lot more expensive. Would it be worth upgrading to? How tight of groups can I expect from a rifle like this? Will it shoot good groups at 100 yards?

Also how is the scope? I'm expecting it to be not so good. I wish I could get it cheaper and without a scope and buy a good scope for it but I'm not seeing them for sale without the scope. Is it worth changing or is the one on it good enough to get by with at least for a while? Also does anyone make any magazines for it that hold more than 5 rounds?

The rifle is great but the scope is barely adequet. I love mine and it is extremely accurate with most ammo. I am not at home to see which ammo it shoots the best but I think it is 36 grain polymer tipped by Hornaday. At 50 yds it shoots a ragged hole. The scope is a Simmons by the way.

The scope doesn't work well at 100yds since it is a 4x. I am sure with a better scope it will keep the groups in very tight though. I have been very pleased with my 93FVSS so far , I just wished ammo was a bit cheaper for it.

Yea, I wish I could find it without that scope as I'd rather just put a decent scope on it that's at least a 3x9. I like the Simmons I've used okay but I'm not sure about a 4x. I also wish the ammo was cheaper. I'm really wondering if it's worth the extra for a .22 mag over a .22LR since the ammo is soo much more expensive.
