I got one of those little buggers today due to the made in Switzerland stamp. Gun looks kind of funky. Who the hell is this company? Google search came up with very little information from the company.

I don't know much about them except they are an expensive clone of the CZ 75. From what I had read, some people think they are great and some that they are overated. Go to a book store,Barnes & Noble, etc., and see if they have a book on gun values and you may find more info.

Hmm, interesting. I was just at the gunshop around the corner picking up some .380 Cor-bon and I noticed they had a Sphinx in the case, I'd never head of it before, and I assumed it was a junk gun. This shop has a Lorcin and several AMT's in the case, too, after all. Then again they have a nice selection of pre-war Colt's and Brownings. I might have to go back there and take a closer look.

Sphinx are well made and excellent pistols. They command a premium with people that know what they are. Good purchase, it weill serve you well. The Swiss make excellent, and expensive stuff. You stole that gun.
