I think Cal's Sporting Armory or some place can retrofit it for $$$$. $300 I think, buku bucks, but I'm not sure if any other place will do it. http://www.calssportingarmory.com/USPCompactLE.htm

HK USA might do it, but then it might be LE Only (tm).

I think HK will do it and its about 230.00 or 260.00 can't remember which. They won't sell just the parts however.

As I understand it, the LEM is more than just a parts swap & requires a slight frame mod...might explain the expense.

Border Patrol Agents are authorized to carry that very model and depending on what you mean by “Socal†you might be able to track one down with a simple phone call.
