Anyone in the Shenandoah Valley, Va have a C&R license?

I just got my C&R app and I see here that I need to submit this to my local head of law enforcement. I live in Waynesboro, Va and while I had no trouble in getting my CHP I am wondering if I will get any resistance to the C&R.

Can someone take me through the process, or better yet anyone in Waynesboro know if our police are friendly to this?

When you get your C&R, make sure to send a copy to MidwayUSA, and Brownells (I've heard the same about Grafs but haven't dealt with them yet). They will give you the dealer price on many items. In my experience, Brownells seems to be the best about this.
 
Yeah, really. Just send them a copy with a note asking them to keep it on file for future orders. Once you have an account at Brownells the web page will show the regular price and the dealer price. They will give you the dealer price.

The savings can add up and if you are like many C&R holders, that will be important because you will end up spending a bunch on C&R guns. :)
