Anyone know anything about the 6.5/.243WSSM wildcat?

Hey there,

In a few different threads, the ideas of a 6.5WSSM wildcatt came up. It allready exists, but does anyone know something substantal? I can't find that much online.

The 243wssm has basically the same ballistics as the original 243 Win. The 260 Rem. of course, is .264 dia., a 6.5, and is based on the 243-308 based case. So it makes sense that the 6.5 wildcat based on the 243wssm will have basically the same ballistics as the 260 Rem. Also like a 6.5x55 Swede.
The 243wssm is nearly identical to the 25wssm. Ammoguide site lists loads for the 6.5/25wssm wildcat.

i have heard that it equals the .260AI, but was looking for actual load velocitys. Thanks

Note that the 25 WSSM has a sharper angled shoulder than the 243 WSSM case. The 25 WSSM has more capacity and is a better/easier case to neck up to 6.5mm.
