Anyone know M1 carbines?

I picked up a m1 carbine, an underwood receiver and a blue sky stamp on the barrel. I got it in a group buy. It seems nice and likely will make a great house gun... any idea on worth in decent/not un issued condition? low to high?

I'd guess $500-$600, based on recent transactions locally and on the internet.

Right at $500 is a good bet. I have 4 of them. You will hear the Blue Sky stamp on the barrel reduces the accuracy or damages the barrel That is BS. Shoot it, use Soft point bullets for Home Defense and you have a winner.

I also have an Underwood imported from Korea by Blue Sky. My dad bought it in the 80s for $169 at Woolworth's.

These guns saw a lot of use. One part you may want to replace is the recoil spring if it seems worn at all. Get replacements from Wolff (gunsprings.com).

I need another cartridge ta stock like I need a whole in my head! Its temptin though its so cute!
