anyone know what this weapon is ?

hi all
have the what i do believe is a black powder weapon
has R. Wason cal. .45 on top and Palmdale cal on side
posted pictures in introduce yourself
i want to shoot this weapon so i need to know what tools
for cleaning and loading should be used

Thatmay be called the Trapper Model?, couldn't see the Mfg. stamps ect. Maybe a .45 Cal Percussion Pistol like a CVA, or?
Does that Name happen to read "R. Watson or Wason" ? I live in Palmdale, CA in the Mojave Desert ... and knew a R. Watson in Palmdale, CA. Wouldn't that be strange?

and there is not a single makers mark on this weapon. and
after further inspection looks like they used a Q instead and
o in Wason....

It could be that it's a kit gun that someone finnished.
