I'm trying to find a concealed carry holster for my Cougar, and let me tell you it sure isn't easy. i'm looking for a kydex paddle holster. Does anybody know of one, or of a company who is going to be producing these at any point in the near future? Thanks for your help

It is a very nicely built firearm imo. It fits my hand perfectly, and is pretty darn accurate. For the 300 bucks I paid beleive me it was worth every penny to me. and yes, it is the same gun as a beretta cougar. just made in turkey

Thanks for the help finding a holster!

I carry my Beretta 8040F Mini-Cougar in a Galco Jak-Slide #915...

I got it as a goift (the holster) from a friend, the day I got my CCW license...

We don't know for sure WHAT it was made for, because he got it for free from a box of holsters in the cop-shop when he went to work as a police officer...

we DO know that it'll hold the Cougar, Smith & Wesson handguns from a 5904, a 4006, a 410, a 4506, and most others, a 637 snubby revolver, a Hi-Standard Double-Nine longhorn, a Ruger MK-1, a Colt Detective Special, a Colt Trooper MK-3, a Dan Wesson 15-2HV... just about anything you might wanna carry... (even my NAA Mini Black Widow stays safely in it...)

put the holster at 4-o-clock and stick the barrel on anything long into your pocket, pointed at your wallet... you can safely conceal almost ANYTHING short of a Serbu Super Shorty, Desert Eagle, or a TC contender in there!

Oh, and Moparguy... with a name like that, what kinda Mopars you got?

After my second kydex paddle holster, i came to a hard realization. They suck.

They are uncomforatble to whare anywhere other than your hip. That limits you on how you can carry. Theya re MURDER on the guns finish; be prepared to watch your nice deep blue finish waste away to bare metal in no time flat. Whats worse is that they often require fitting, as they are cheaply and roughly molded

Spend the extra money and buy leather. buy GOOD leather. Galco and Bianchi. My CZ-75 rides in a Galco combat master, and my 6" S&W M19 rides in a Bianchi thumb snap holster.

If its for heavy use, and you need something more durrable, get a GOOD cordura holster. Bianchi makes those as well.

I ended up getting a leather holster from Rays Holsters, the holster is a Shado Leather, and it fits like a glove.

hemicuda, I dont have anything ultra desirable, I just have one almost done one that I enjoy driving, its a 74 Charger SE that I just finished building the drivetrain for. Within the next 2 months I'm going to get it running down the dragstrip i work at (i'm an announcer) and see what it runs. if I did the numbers right I should be looking at a low 12, high 11 second run in a full bodied all steel charger. which is pretty decent for a street car i think.

thanks for all your advice guys!

Good old Ray

Yep, Ray is an old Gentlemen, who started making holsters when he got out of the Marines a/o Army (can't remember which) and is my kind of guy, who I bought 2 leather SOB holsters for my Beretta Px4 40 and my bug, Sig P232 SL 380, and they work perfectly.

I also got one Nylon ankle holster for the Bug 380 also. Prices are fair/right, and he delivers on time.

Glad we spent our money with him,

LS :)

i had mine 4 days after I ordered. so I surely cant complain about his shipping time. :D I'm thinking of a SOB holster for it, and also a IWB, but i didnt see any IWB for my gun that he was selling. which does suck since I would certainly do business with him again. I would also say my holster was cheap for what I got.
