Anyone near Raleigh, NC?

I am going to be purchasing a CETME this spring and while I've read a ton of information about them it would be nice to have someone who knows roller-locked rifles to come with me just to give the rifle a quick once over before I pick it up. Going to be purchasing from Fuquay Gun.

If you're interested and know the CEMTE shoot me a PM and we can go from there. I'll definitly pick up lunch or a box of your favorite ammo etc for your time

I have a ptr-91 and live in Mebane< N.C., but I do not know what to look for than the regular things for any firearm.

How do you pronounce that CETME?

Is it Ket-mee, Set-mee, Keet-mee, or ket-um?

Who makes this rifle? If its a Century I would be a little leery.

My brother has one. I'm not impressed although he likes it, it seems to not cycle very well unless you use NATO ammo. Something about the commercial 308 ammo won't reliably operate the action and you have to hand cycle the empty brass out most of the time.

With the right ammo, it works great.

Yah they tend to prefer 7.62 NATO vs .308 from what I've read

Thats a good looking rifle Storz. I live east of Raleigh, like black rifles, but guns are guns. Give it a good look over and work the action, make sure the mags lock up and release without much hassle. Make sure sights are straight? If your still unsure looks like Storz has some experience!
