I've got .44 carbine version that been chopped down into a pistol to get round UK legalites (we have some dumb laws). Yes parts are a problem, but they are just peices of metal and nothing a competent gunsmith shouldn't be able to fix.

Currently working on some loads but not sure how far to push it with the open top design?

I put in a call to American Western Arms (weekend, so I had to leave a message). They have listed on their site the MATEBA Auto-Revolver available in all 3 calibers. I have no idea if they still have any until they get back to me. They're listed as starting at $1800 for the .357 & .44 and $1900 for the .454. I've seen them for less elsewhere, but if AWA is a stocking dealer that may be the easiest place for people to get exactly the MATEBA they're after.
