I bought a "shooter grade" from Aim last fall and was happy. It was as they advertised. Some bluing worn, some nicks in the stock. Good bore. Overall, it could not be beat for $99. It shoots good to! No problems whatsoever. I also bought an "unissued" for $159, and have been extremely happy with it. There is a definite difference in condition, but you get what you pay for I guess.
I've heard of others that have been less than happy with the shooter grades. Honestly, I think it's hit or miss, and also depends on your expectations going in. If you want one just to shoot the heck out of, and aren't as concerned about looks, non-matching numbers, brand new bores, etc., then you'll be satisfied with a shooter grade. Keep in mind, it is a $99 weapon. I still think they're the best deals going right now.
