Anyone ordered from Factory Sales lately

Little worse. I ordered a tuuret press from them and a set of 9mm dies. Took a at least a month for the press and 2 weeks longer for the dies.

Good luck, I have had an order with them for over 5 weeks now. A few bullet molds and some handles for the molds. Previously I had the same order with midway and the same thing. I gave up after the backorder date kept moving. Anything that has to do with ammo has gotten rediculous to find. I have been moving more towards black powder. I can make bullets caps and powder. They can't cut me off.

Try ordering your supplies direct from lee. Explain the national crisis and I am sure they will be sympathetic and work with you.

I have ordered from many times in the recent past and get the stuff within a week. I don't have a urgent need for the stuff I want to order just trying to save some $$$$. I want to order a second set of 38spl/357 Mag dies, a turret, a double disk kit and a few other small things. I want to hav one set of dies set for 38spl and one for the 357 Mag.

5-6 weeks. If you're in a hurry and you can find it somewhere in inventory go for it. I'm not in a hurry most of the time and I appreciate the savings. I'm sure he's shipping it out as quickly as he can bc/low margin businesses need faster cash flow turnover to be profitable.

One last question. I have never ordered from them before, do they charge your CC when you order or when they ship?

I ordered from Factory Sales once. When I discovered that they instantly charged my credit card, I canceled the order.

If you Google Map the address of Factory Sales it shows a residential home.
Factory Sales 7251 Valley Ct., Hartford, WI.

The fact that they run a business out of their home does not bother me. I just don't want to get screwed. The instant charge thing is kind of bothersome but I think I can live with that as long as I eventually get my stuff.

Let's see....
• They hit your credit card the instant you place an order
• Shipments take at least a month or more no matter what you order
• Their listed address is in a residential neighborhood
• They have a reputation of not answering their phone or emails

If you think you can "live" with that, then go for it.

I have placed orders for dies twice in the last six weeks and received the dies within one week on both orders. I will be placing another order next week and I expect similar results.

factory sales

I ordered replacement de-capping pins , 2 that cost under $2 each and was charged almost $20 for something that would fit in a first class envelope.
No notice of shipping charges on any of the web pages.
It took almost 6 weeks for the order to arrive.

After reading everyone's experiences with FS I felt like I don't really need the hassle I get enough of that already . I just looked at Cabela's and they have just about everything I want for about the same price. Some of the stuff is in stock and some will need to be backordered. The things they don't carry are minor and I will just order them from Lee directly.

This was my email to them tonight;
"Good evening, looking for an update concerning this order. My credit card was charged shortly after placing order and I have yet to receive any merchandise or credit back to my credit card. I truly understand that the entire shooting community has been taking a serious hit of late due to unprecedented amounts of demand in our sport. I also understand you request that customers remain patient during this extraordinary time; thirty days is my limit without updates. If you can not fulfill this order request, no problem refund charges and I will find the items elsewhere. Thank you for correcting this issue as expeditiously as possible."
Went to Cableas today and both of the FCD that I ordered were on the Cabelas shelf...

BINGO! we have a winner

Thats enough for me

I order stuff from them that I don't mind taking 4 weeks to get...Other than the shipping wait I've had no problems with them. They've been responsive to all my emails (had to change shipping address).

I placed an order with them a few months ago. Website said delivery in 2 weeks.

Once order processed, and credit card charged, it said delivery in 3-4 weeks.

After 6 weeks and no delivery I was told another 4-6 weeks.

Order cancelled.

Placed order with Midway and had order 5 days later.

As they say, results may vary.

I've been waiting 6 weeks for an order from them. If there wasn't a link from the Lee Precision website I would never have ordered from them.

I've been waiting since 3/5

Reminds me of my order from F&M Reloading. Put my order in 2/22 and still waiting. At least they haven't charged my CC yet.

kanook, what did you order from them? My impression is they don't keep stock so their stock is Lee's stock. If Lee doesn't have it then you won't get it til the next production run. I waited for my 30.30 dies probably about 5 mos (but I wasn't in a hurry either plenty of other stuff on my plate). I've got some gauge holders on order, some ruskie dies (7.62 tokarev and 7.62x54), oh and .380 dies too. If I get everything at once I'll be impressed. I'm not in a hurry so I don't mind the wait and happy to get the discount. Now if somethings pop for me, I get caught on some other things, then I'll get ansy. I'll post back anything I don't get so everyone has a heads up on what not in stock.

They hold up your order until everything you ordered is in stock. I just spoke with Cherie at Factory sales to cancel my order, she was very nice about it but six weeks is just a bit long of a wait without any kind of update from them.

.457 Ruger mould, .50 R.E.A.L. mould, and some lube. I could understand (not really) if it was for modern, but I didn't realize they would have a rush on black powder stuff also. I've still got enough for now(maybe 30 balls left and maybe 15 rifle sabots), but I do want to get in some more range time before season. I know where it hits, I just like to stay in shape. :D
