Anyone shoot a Gibbs "Quest" rifle?

I was looking at those Gibbs "Quest" rifles. I think they are about what I have been looking for in a scout-type rifle. I love the trigger and action on SMLEs.

Has anyone shot one, or heard if they are any good? I had heard that Gibbs was kind of a chop-shop and really did some terrible work "customizing" rifles, but honestly how badly can you screw up a SMLE if all you are doing is putting a different stock on it and nickle-plating it?

You'd be surprised. I've literally had Gibbs-mangled Lee-Enfields dissassemble themselves in my hands while shooting them. Do a search on my username and Gibbs for details.
