Anyone planning on making the match coming up? Anyone actually shooting in it?

Asking if anyone in NC shoots IDPA is kind of like asking if anyone in New York likes baseball. :)

(i.e, NC is probably the biggest single concentration of IDPA in the country).

IDPA and USPSA (IPSC) are both pretty big here in NC. I shoot our local USPSA matches when I can (pistol and carbine).

Hey, any of you guys know of any place around Florence, SC that hosts IDPA matches? I just moved to the area and I haven't found anything yet. (alternativly is the original poster is in south eastern NC, if he knows anywhere in that vicinity I'd be game for that too)

If you can't find an IDPA match close by, try USPSA. USPSA Limited-10 division is very close to IDPA; there has been a big shift away from raceguns in recent years. I shoot my single-stack S&W 3913 locally.

I do know that the Ant Hill range near the NC/SC border has USPSA and 3-gun:

For IDPA clubs in your area, go to www.idpa.com, and click on "club finder" somewhere on the left side. They will list all the affiliate clubs and a point of contact for them.
