Oh Hi Oh
I've been able to find some range reports on the S&W 327 which are mostly initial impressions of the gun; how it shoots, recoil, etc.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has had their 327 for a while and has put a lot of rounds through it. How has your 327 held up? I relaize it's not intended for long sessions at the range but I want to be able to shoot enough to practice.

By the way, I'm most interested in the PC model with the 2" barrel.

Sorry, I can't help you either.

But...

I do own and shoot several other scandium Smith revolvers (the .44 mag--329; the .45 acp--325; and the j-frame .357--340, I believe), and I have been very satisfied with their performance and longevity. Great guns to own, carry, and shoot, though the j-frame at 12 oz is quite a handful with mag loads. I think you should take your 327 and shoot the heck out of it. I have no reason to believe it would not last a good while and perform like most other Smith products.

I have a 2" 327 but have only run 40 rounds thru it. With hot 357 loads it is controllable and a little more comfortable than my 340. Still sharp however. My initial impressions were favorable. I like the quick 8 round reloads.
