Have a Terani trainer kerambit made out of aluminum.
Will be seeing him this summer in N.E. for a day of this tool.
The trainer alone would really grab someones butt if used on pressure points, armpits, etc. all by itself.
Can't wait. I don't think this tool is for everyone. Practicing with the trainer kerambit has shown some great potential in reverse grip drills.
No stabbing to speak of and it isn't something you really want to use to defend yourself with as the locals will be quite upset even if clearly self-defense on yoru part.
Impressions and fears by non-knifers who work in the court systems will not appreciate your even having one let alone using it to harm someone.
In the real world, you may suffer charges having used this tool where you may not have been charged utilizing something less menacing looking.
I don't believe these will ever really be an item that we'll see carried by the masses and the first time one is found to have been used in a crime they will be regulated I'm sure.
A specialty tool at best and one probably reserved for those who have some background in defensive knife tactics, specifically the reverse grip angles of attack and defense.
