Anyone use bullets.com?

I just found something a little weird with the bullets.com site.

I am there now. Put 16lbs of pistol powder in my cart and it was showing $20 hazmat, along with the cost of the powder itself and the regular shipping. Then I added a couple of pounds of rifle powder and hazmat now shows $40.

Anyone know what the deal is with that?

Either its too much weight and needs more hazmat fees or they ship separate so you get hit with separate fees. I almost ordered some from them but the shipping plus hazmat killed it.

I was thinking it is just two orders for some reason, because I think 48lbs is max on a hazmat, right?

could just be a computer glitch.
remove both since you "added" to a prior order after checking your cart - then put both back on at once.
It doesn't appear that your order is overweight and unless one is on backorder, they should both ship at once with no additional fees.

I have had 3 orders placed with them now. No problems except they were out of some bullets. My last order was for the aluminum triangle rest with windage adjustment. I am kind of a contrarian. I like the windage cable adjustment knob, just not on that side ( I am a lefty). So I did the lefty mods to it. And yes you can order aftermarket bags for it I seen on another forum I belong to where they have modded this rest.

I seen on another forum they are going out of business and they have some amazing deals right now but ive never heard of them and going out of business kind of throws up a red flag but I could easily spend $200 on some goodies like a rest and cleaners.

Thanks for the heads up, I just snagged a couple boxes of lead 357 cal bullets for half price!
