Hello,

I have a keg of Benchmark I use with .223 and want to start using it with 7.62x39 for my AK. I haven't found any load data so I am assuming that it won't work. Has anyone tried it? I want to use it with Missouri Bullet .309 lead rifle projectiles.

Thanks

Sure it will work, Sierra #5 has data using Benchnark in the x39. Not sure about cast lead though, how fast do you plan on pushing these cast bullets with BM?

Well, I'm not sure yet. Some guys in this thread suggested it:

I am just looking to make a cheap-o plinking round but I don't want to lead the heck out of the thing either.

Thanks for the tip on Sierra #5. I figured it would work. I don't want to make anything hot, just enough to obturate the bullet and cycle the action.
