I'm setting here banging my head at the inlaws as everyone watches football and gets drunk on Thanksgiving wishing I knew of a place to go burn some reloads in my GCNM. For future reference.....
IS THERE A PLACE I CAN GO TO GET AWAY FROM THE MADNESS!! :D
I'm just south of Statesville off exit 36 on I-77

Sorry to hear of your Holiday (In-Law Induced) woes. Not sure where Stateville is located, but if you are within driving distance of Fayetteville I suggest Jim's Pawn and Gun Jobbery. They have a good indoor range and you can rent firearms (including Class III). Hope the rest of your holiday goes well and have a safe trip home.

Fayetteville is way too far from Charlotte/Statesville area. I made it home safe today and spent a few hours in the woods for some quiet time hunting. Took my 10 year old son along, but I had a hard time getting him to quit grunting/ huffing and puffing and farting. He was "bored", even though he asked to go along!
I'd rather not pass up an opportunity to take one of the boys along, even if it means ruining the hunt.

I'm gonna bump this one back up. I was stuck at my inlaws in Hickory for Thanksgiving and unlike ScottsGT I didn't even have Internet access! :banghead:

Does anyone know of a range in the Statesville & Hickory area? It would make my wife very happy to not have to listen to me complain about being bored every time we go to visit her family!

There's a place called "Shooters" in Statesville.
My son-in-law takes me there when I visit.
Open the yelow pages. I'm not sure of the address.
