AO M1 carbine

Anyone have this M1 carbine?I've got the Arsenal AK,Bushie M4,Spring M1A...just for some reason..I've got a itch for this carbine.Loaded w/ corbon dx ,should be a good h/d weapon.What do you think?

P.S. All I need is a push!

I love my little Carbine. I've got about 6 or 700 rounds through it with no issues. I did have an issue at first with a factory mag. Wouldn't feed right and got the occasional stove pipe. I took the mag apart and put it back together and its worked fine every since.

Mine gets put on HD duty once in a while. Its main use is varmint control around the farm here. It is certainly a handy little rifle thats light and small.

My one issue with it is that it has the flip up sights, which are a little off. I can never get the hold over correct. So, I think i might get an Ultimak rail for it and put an optic on it.

Shark I put a UltiMak rail on mine and a C-More Red dot sight. The target is off the bench at 100 yrds. with good handloaded ammo. I would say do it. From my experience you won't be disappointed.

lencac - that looks good. I'm definitely an Ultimak fan. I put one on my AK and couldn't be happier with it. Even made my AK feel more solid. Normally I wouldn't be up for adding a modern touch to an old school weapon or in my case and old design just new production. But, the Ultimak doesn't give the look of a complete abomination. It really does look good.

It's not really a matter of if...just more like when.

I concurr Shark. In some fashion it does seem to make the M1 seem a little more substantial.
