Apex M&P FSS trigger issue

Just wondering if anyone else has installed one of these on a M&P and is having issues with field stripping the gun.Seems to function fine but i'm having isuues with the internal take down lever not returning to the correct position.

What do you mean it doesnt return to proper position???

when reassembling the gun,inserting a magazine to return the take down lever will not move it,i have to pull the trigger to get it to allow the magazine to be inserted.I talked to Apex and they tell this is not normal.I had the kit intstalled by a local gunsmith and returned it twice but he can't seem to get it working properly.

Thats definitely odd. May wanna send it to APEX....and have the local smith pay the cost.

That is what I would do too.

Apex Tactical, specifically Randy and Scott will stand behind their product, but if you smith did something odd to their parts I wouldn't expect them (Apex) to cover the cost of repair. The FSS kit was designed as a drop-in module, it shouldn't require a lot of fitting.

It might be hard to reach them after today. They will be out of the shop (starting tomorrow) for the next week at the SHOT Show
