Followed this on TFL a little. It is pretty obvious to anyone with a brain that a gun lock would render the gun useless in most any HD scenario.

It's also crazy how One cannot use the same ammunition as LE in defense of oneself and IMO the wrong argument was made
The purpose of the ordinance, according to San Francisco officials, is to reduce the lethality of ammunition used in the city, but the challengers disputed that hollow points are any more lethal than other types of bullets.
.Trying to convince someone that they are not more lethal is not the point, SD ammo being the same right for anyone including LE is. Common belief Is that HP is more lethal and the mentality that Governing forces should have a more lethal round than a civilian is in the antis core belief and obviously the thought process behind the law. The belief that Government has all the answers go's right along with the antis core belief that people should depend on LE and government to handle all thier woes as well.

Another point that the argument was wrong : If one is arguing they are the same in a lethal sense, why would it matter if they were banned? They essentially handed them an excuse when they had none IMO. :banghead:Am I missing something there? Or is An argument submitted on it's merit the logical path to accreditation and discrediting the HP only took the merit from the argument? Heck they already had the legal path to obtain HP ammo (and retain it there in their home and use it if they could get the gun lock off in time to defend themselves) then to argue it's the same so what's the big deal? That argument won't cut it IMO:barf:
