Hey all
There is an Appleseed set for August 23-24, Sat and Sunday, in Gibsonburg, Oh, between Fremont and Perrysburg. It is on the Appleseedinfo.org website.
See all you Buckeyes, Wolverines and such there!

Wow, that's not far at all! This is great, thanks!!!

Now you MI folks can go to Buckeye country to shoot an Appleseed, but only ONE....Then you have to have your own.

Being a reformed Wolverine, it is sad to see Michigan go this long without an Appleseed, pitty really.

So, after this one, you are obligated to take it back North with you :neener:

We could still do one up there in late September/October, without snow, so if you move quickly, we can still have a 2008 MI Appleseed.

Hope to see you both there.

Wow this looks pretty cool, I've never been to one before. And it's not far at all from me. only rifle I got though that'll reach to 500 is the 308 bolt gun, is there particular weapons to bring?

Actually, ScottG1911, this particular event is a 25-meter only, so the advice from the Appleseed site is to bring a .22 iffen you got one. I'm thinking about going, although I reckon I'd have to arrange to put a sling on my Remington 510--no studs or swivels on it.

We don't let snow keep us from shooting.

That is true! Snow just cools our barrels faster. :) But, where could we do a 500 yard Appleseed in Michigan?

Are these things open to non-members? It seems like just the thing I was looking for, the opportunity to do shooting at 500 yards, and to get my weapon properly sighted in for such a distance.

I want my irons on about 400 yards, my Eotech at about 50 yards. I also have an HK-91 clone with a scope I've been hoping to get sighted in at 500 yards.

Would this place be the place to get it done at?
