Ar-15 Anti-Walk Pins?

KNS is all I know about. Is this on a full auto, or are you using a bump fire stock or something?

Make sure that the j spring is in the bottom of the hammer. It should intrude into the hammer pin hole. I
that spring is supposed to be staked into the hammer but I have seen one fall out. Lacking the J spring in the hammer the hammer pin will work out.
I suspect that if all hammers had the J spring included that K &S would sell a lot less pin kits.

did you install the hammer spring under the pin? The hammer has a detent that holds a pin, and the spring holds a cut in the other. If the pins are walking sideways, you have a defective part. Its easier to install the trigger pin over the hammer spring, and that can allow the pin to work out.

Post 5 is the most likely solution. Improper hammer spring installation. If, however, you do wind up needing or wanting anti-walk pins, the KNS get my vote.

Unless you have a drop in, self-contained FCG, then ALL mil-spec designed hammer and trigger pins are "anti-walk" pins. Maybe yours need to have the groove cleaned out, or maybe you didn't install your springs properly, or maybe you're seeing a little protrusion on one side and thinking the pin would keep walking...

KNS & JP are fine anti-walk pins, if you insist on added cost.

Tolerance stacking with lower tier manufactures might be the issue too..
