if youve had any experiences with these specific products then please let me know. also, are these handguards free floating? i think they are but it doesnt say.
the goal of getting these parts is to make my gun a little more accurate with the free float hand guards and the fatter barrel. i also want better heat resistance. when im at the range, i have to stop to let it cool after only 3 magazines. that wouldn't be good in a combet sittuation. im getting some other stuff too a smith vortex brake, and an ergo grip alog with a full length butt stock. just incase you were wondering.:D

I haven't got any experience with the B-Square rail system, but from the picture it doesn't look like it is a free float type. It appears that it fits like standard hand guards.

I wouldn't recommend the Model 1 barrel. I'd spend more money for a barrel from a tier one manufacturer. You want a chrome lined barrel made out of 4150 steel, and I'd recommend a 1/7 twist. 1/9 will handle some of the 75 grain ammo, but the most versatile twist is 1/7 considering the popularity of the 75 and 77 grain loads. Contrary to popular rumors, the 1/7 will handle everything from 50 grain on up. I've shot thousands of rounds of M193 equivalent ammo out of the 1/7 barrel in my Colt 6920 with great results. Someone a lot smarter then me said to buy quality gear once.

+1 for Yankee Hill and also Midwest Industries products.
Ergo grips are wonderful, I prefer the ambidextrious hard surface grips to the cushy grips.
I ended up replacing my Smith Vortex flash suppressors with Y.H. Phantom flash suppressor/muzzlebrakes.

Bushmaster and Double Star offer the best chrome lined barrels I have used.
They are more expensive and well worth it.
1-9 twist is best if you are going to shoot 50-62 grain bullets like the majority of shooters.
Go with a 1-7 if you plan to mainly shoot 60 to 80 grain bullets with an occasional run of 55 grain ammo tossed in once in a while.

I have not seen a 1-7 twist barrel that will group 55 grain bullets more accurately and consistently than a 1-9.
