Which one would be better? The first one comes in 5 and 6" and the second one comes in 5" only. Both are 1/2" risers. I'm just wondering which one would be more stable? I will be putting a red dot on one and a scope on another.

I couldn't imagine either one not being stable. I think it's up to you.

I use the first one with my Aimpoint. It works well, and it's stable and stiff.
