I purchased an Armalite AR-24-15C and am well pleased. I was a Tool Room Machinist before becoming a Tool Desinger and the Manager of an Engineering Dept. The machining work and design of this pistol impresses me.

One unusual point that I have noticed is that the firing pin safety block is not actuated by pushing the blocking part up, but allowing it to move down (lowered) when the trigger is pulled. I am a fan of the 1911 pistol, but do not like the method of actuating it's firing pin block because it interferes with a "good" trigger pull. Clever and sort of an obvious solution.

So, the firing pin block spring does not work against your trigger pull force.
This is a common feature shared by the Tanfoglio, Jericho Baby Eagle, and the Sarsılmaz pistols.
Regards.
