Some replacement firing pins for the CZ-52 will lighten the trigger pull but eliminate the firing pin block. I take it that this means that using the decocker with a round in the chamber would cause the gun to fire. So do not decock with a round in the chamber. What other problems would be caused by installing such firing pins?

Thanks,

It wouldn't be drop-safe, as said before, but that is all I have heard. Though, I must admit I would be nervous about disabling the decock safety without disabling the decocker. If I could drill and tap in a small screw that would prevent the safety from moving from safe to decock, then I would have no trouble with the operation. As it is, though, I would be very wary about a pistol that would fire with the safety or trigger, your choice. It would be too much like the Type 94 Shiki Kenjo of Japanese fame which had an exposed sear.
