AR BiPod

Interested in opinions on a bipod for my AR. I intend to use it strictly for bench shooting - not a tactical application. I know Harris, et al have great products, but since it is just for the bench I was hoping for a recommendation on the cheaper end of the scale.

Ideas?

if you're just going to shoot from a bench, get a nice set of bags and skip the bipod. bipods actually suck compared to bags, with their sole advantage being portability

My Walmart was selling Harris bipods in the neighborhood of 48 dollars when I bought mine. I use it for all my rifles, including the AR. Works out fine for me.

For bench shooting I use bags. If I'm going to shoot from the prone position I use a Harris attached to a rail. I also have used an usgi bi-pod just for the nostalgia.
