AR Build question

Allright, nice to be here, anyways...

A friend is selling this BCM partial upper for less than he paid after thinking he got in over his head and I've been wanting to try my hand at building one so I figured why not.

The only question I have is, other than the lower, what else do I need? I already have a bolt carrier group and charging handle on the way. anything else?

Forearm pieces, or rail stuff. Rear site or optics, a mag or two and you should be ok. I have heard of matching the bolt to the upper, but I am not knowledgeable on that.

Yep, nothing to be worried about. In fact, something quite similar to what you linked should be showing up tomorrow afternoon, and to complete it, this is what I already have:

- Completed lower (with stock, and all pieces and such installed)
- Magpul midlength MOE handguards
- Basic rear sight left over from another rifle's upgrades

The bolt, bolt carrier, and charging handle will be coming along in the same box.

Should be hitting the range with it Saturday.

Dion, we're gonna have VERY similar builds! apparently everyone is buying these. I'm just waiting on my furniture which is Magpul MOE hand guards, MOE stock, and BUIS, all in matching OD green of course.
