I would stay as far away from the bolt conversions as possible. My ROTC Batalion uses them and they jam every other friggin shot it seeems. Better off throwing the gun at the target! Main problem as I see it is the mags, they just stuff some smaller mag into an ar mag and call it good. Doesn't feed right or something. Also the bolt does not like to go all the way forward on them it seems, and you can't push it forward, you have to pull the charging handle all the way back, which exracts the shell, and is a friggin pain.
If you want a .22 get a .22, not some half way solution. Ruger 10/22s are easliy had for less then $200.
I think I have started down the long line of .mil personal who dislike the AR platform....
