AR disassembly question?

So how do I remove the safety selector from the receiver? I figured the hammer and trigger pins out, but I don't know how to remove the safety selector.

loosen or remove the screw and pistol grip, when you take the PG off you'll notice a small spring coming out of a recess in the left side of the grip, that spring applies presure to a detent pin that is retaining your safety, the pin may fall out when you remove the spring. Make sure that when you reassemble the safety is in place and the pointy end of the detent pin is pointed towards the safety.
