It's cold and windy, so I tinkered around on the workbench today.

Bushmaster011-1.gif

Beats watching a replay of the Cowboys getting beat last night.:D

40 degrees with 30mph wind

Balmy in Fargo, but cold as a well digger's azz in SE Tx.:D

It's a BSA 3 12x44 which has been collecting dust for a couple of years.

Have no idea if it will shoot well, but I see sometime this week.

Ya--colder than a witch's...............here.

40 would be a heatwave.

I would say overpowered more than disgraced.

Where's my Global Warming????????? Al Gore lied to me.

Yea, after all, he invented the internet so we could have forums like this. :D

Nothing disgraceful about that set up. It does look funny though. :p

"I beg to differ. NOTHING beats watching the Cowboys getting beat."

i agree completely, and a agree about it bieng both overpowered and disgraced, i HATE BSA, i have a 6-24 Mildot, and it was a waste of about $70
ken

I think it looks great. Mine is nearly identical. Different scope and handgrip.
It doesn't look like it needs shimming to me.

you're gonna need to duct tape a pillow on the stock to get a cheek weld. i've had good luck with a bsa. on my pellet rifle.

Nah, nothing beats watching TO whine and cry when the Cowboys get beat.

actually, hes ok with the cowboys losing.

what upsets him is when he doesn't get his share of balls thrown his way.

so he can drop them.

A friend of mine decided to try a $99 BSA 6-24x40 scope on his colt, so far we are both impressed with it. Its definitely not as comfortable as a Bushnell for eye relief, or as good quality in optics at all, but it works good.

I had this old Simmons 8 point 4-12X42AO on my flat top for a while. I thought it shoot very well along with being very ugly, so ugly I had to cover it up. But it worked and that's what counts, right?

Cheek weld.....hell, how about a chin weld.

Took it to the range today and drove tacks (like it should) at 100yds.

Took me three shots at 50 yds to walk it down to the center.

Cheap? you bet.

Fun to shoot? absolutely

Permanent? uhhh....no
