AR M4 profile Complete Upper Suggestions/Reccomendations

Hello,

I've tried the search feature to see if I could find anything to help out. So I'm now throwing it out there to the general public.

I want to add a M4-profile to my AR build, but am at a loss as to which I want(damn the choices/options available!! )

Money is not really a factor, but obviously lower costing is better.

I would prefer it to have a monolithic rail. Are there any complete uppers with the Vltor VIS? I would definitely like it to have rails regardless.

I've looked at Noveske and Fulton Armory, Del-Ton, CMMG, Stag Arms....

Just so many choices, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion for what you're looking for though is BCM, LMT, Noveske. All have a quality M4 profile upper option for you and are "mil-spec". Stag and CMMG are decent as well, but not quite to the same quality. Del-Ton I don't know much about personally, but I haven't exactly heard glaring reviews on them.

"m4 profile" and "monolithic upper" are mutually exclusive terms

Seeing as how the BCM is just the upper minus the bolt carrier group/charging handle and no sights, while the Noveske would come with everything, would there really be any reason not to go with the Noveske? Obviously if I shopped around with the BCM I could get everything else for a hundred or so less.

Get the Colt AR15 Law Enforcement Carbine model LE6940, got the monolithic upper and it's the newest one on the market

Panda is correct. the 6940 is a the evolution of the M4 platform. Some people don't like it because it doesn't have a longer rail. However it is really made for a 14.5 inch barrel so the rail is the correct length. My biggest complaint is the proprietary Barrel extension. Something that will not be an issue unless you plan on swapping out barrels a lot.

They are really nice right out of the box but some people like me prefer to do a lot of work to them.

From colt? No. However check the EE on AR15.com, I think there are a few up for sale right now.
